How to play

Five free kicks. One shot each.

Everyone gets the same five kicks every day. They refresh at midnight Sydney time. Score up to 100 points a kick, 500 in all.

Each kick has four steps

  1. Line it up. Drag the crosshair on the goal (or use the arrow keys). The white flight line shows where the ball will go. If it turns red, the wall will block it, so aim higher, wider or plan to bend it.
  2. Set your power. Press Kick. A knob swings along the power bar until you tap. The green sweet spot (75 to 85 percent) sends the ball to your crosshair. Softer drops it low, harder sends it high.
  3. Strike it. A second knob swings left to right. Tap in the green for a clean strike. Tap early or late to bend the ball left or right. That is how you curl a free kick around a wall.
  4. Watch it fly. Then replay it, or go on to the next kick.

What gets in your way

Scoring

You only score if it is a goal. Land within 0.3 metres of the orange bullseye for 100. After that you lose 25 points per metre, with a minimum of 15 for any goal. Saves, blocks, the woodwork, over, wide and short score 0.

Three codes, one Triple

Switch between soccer, AFL and NRL with the tabs (or keys 1 2 3). Each has its own kicks, streak and score. Play all three and your accuracy scores add up to the Triple, out of 1,500.

Make it yours

Open the locker (L) to change your ball, trail, crosshair and goal confetti. Some unlock with a daily streak. Cosmetics are visual only and never change your score.

Keyboard

Space or Enter kicks and locks each meter. Arrow keys nudge the aim (hold Shift for bigger steps). R replays, P starts practice after full time, M mutes, L opens the locker, and 1 2 3 switch code.
